Meet Diana

When I bought Anne, I thought she would be my last American Girl doll ever. I earned the money for her myself, and it took nearly a year.

I put a lot of thought into which doll to get.

Anne is a #6, but I almost got a #15.

I impulse bought this #15 from etsy 2 years ago.

I thought that maybe she could be Anne's twin, so I named her Diana, after the best friend of Anne of Green Gables.

I admit, though, I was nervous about changing Anne's story after so many years.

When I got Diana, she just didn't work as Anne's twin for me. She is taller and tanner than Anne, obviously a later doll. They just don't look right together to me.

I ended up not bonding with Diana, and will probably be rehoming her.

I hope she has better luck at her next home!

Surprise!

I am going to MCM this weekend, so the last thing I need to do is buy a new doll online.

Reader, that is exactly what I did.

Georgie of Northbound Dolls posted this American Girl doll #15 that had been mislabeled as Josefina on etsy.

She looks like she is in really gorgeous condition.

I originally considered getting #15 as Anne instead of #6, back when American Girls of Today had just been released. I have retained a soft spot for her.

And this doll was under a hundred dollars, and comes with Josefina's loom! Squee!

My collection is growing more than I ever planned, but how could I say no to her?

I can't wait for her to get here!

Molly Thrift Store Find

I found Pleasant Company's trunk for Molly! It was $20 and I found it in a pile of stuff in the garage (!) of my local thrift store. It...
