Faux Button Jumper 4

I just had this pink fabric lying around, so here is another Faux Button Jumper from the Forever 18 Inches pattern.

Yeah, I was running out of energy to make T-shirts to go with the jumpers a bit, so this jumper got paired with Tipi's original shirt.

This outfit looks very spring-like to me, even though it is fall.

Surjan looks pretty in it. Surjan is just a lovely doll.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I hope that you have a frightfully good one!

I didn't get costumes made for all the dolls for Halloween. Nor did I expect to.

But I am proud that SOME of them have costumes made in time!

Hoodies Galore!

Here is a group picture of my Hearts for Hearts dolls wearing the hoodies I have made so far from the Requiem Art Designs hoodie pattern.

Aren't they cute?

There are so many cute possibilities to make with this pattern!

Panda hoodie

This is the sixth hoodie that I have made from the Requiem Art Designs hoodie pattern.

It's a panda!

Hearts for Hearts doll Surjan is my lovely model.

There are a lot of panda themed clothing items out there, but I think this one is super cute.

I want to make hoodies for all of my Hearts for Hearts dolls.

What is next? A polar bear? A pig?

I honestly haven't decided yet.

Some animals just won't translate well as a hoodie- turtles and seals for instance. It would be really hard to make a giraffe with its spots. Ditto Tigger and his stripes.

I have thought of a penguin, but I am not sure it would look good.

What animal would you make as a hoodie?

Fox Hoodie!

I made another hoodie from the 14 inch Requiem Designs Pattern.

This time I made a fox!

When I was little, I was not afraid of monsters under the bed. Oh no.

I was afraid of a fox in the closet.

I don't think anyone could be afraid of this adorable fox!

I did make the fox because of my childhood fear. I thought it would be funny.

I worked hard to replicate the markings of a fox as best I could, like making black-tipped ears.

I think it's really cute.

She also has a tail!

And just wait, because I have more hoodies made with this pattern!

Surjan at the Beach

Hearts for Hearts doll Surjan got to go to the beach for the first time.

She is very happy!

Next time I will have to bring some friends for her to play with!

Hearts for Hearts Surjan

I recently acquired Surjan from another doll blogger at Revenge of the Toy Box! Yay!

You can read Surjan's original unboxing post here.

I should share the story of how I smuggled her in to my collection.
My mom was spending a long visit with me and had been making daily comments about how I own too many dolls and I should not get any more.

Sooo, I asked if there was any way to disguise the true contents of the box when Surjan was mailed to me.

The seller came through nobly (and generously!), wrapping Surjan in some fabric so I could pretend that the fabric was the true purpose of the box. Then all I had to do was wait until my mom's back was turned and retrieved Surjan.

Here is Surjan with the other Hearts for Hearts.

Surjan is kind of similar to Shola. they both have amber eyes, dark hair, and the same complexion.
However, they have different lip colors and face molds.
I think Surjan has the same face mold as Rahel, but it's hard for me to tell with Hearts for Hearts.

I am so happy she is here!

Molly Thrift Store Find

I found Pleasant Company's trunk for Molly! It was $20 and I found it in a pile of stuff in the garage (!) of my local thrift store. It...
