One of my friends challenged me with a series of photo prompts.
This is the photo that I created for the prompt, "Trick or Treat!"
Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from me and Corinne, the cutest witch!
I found this photo effect by accident on my phone. I think it's perfect for Halloween photos!
May your holiday be spook-tacular!Oh no! Tasha made a mess and dropped an egg!
The clock is ticking, but she will use her skills to save her bake.
Here's a nice autumn picture of Saige.
I really love this Irish outfit. It is perfect for autumn and for St. Patrick's Day!
Here's a better picture of my Wednesday Addams.
The black and white background is perfect for her, isn't it? Much better than cheerful green grass.
Here is Tasha mixing up a dough for the Great British Bake Off!
She has to be careful with her time management, but she has practiced this, and she's ready.
I really love the new Craving Carryout Mystery Pack Collection!
Someone figured out the codes for all of the items.
A - Sub Special (Submarine sandwich/chips)
B - Sushi Sampler
c - Falafel Pita Pocket
D - Coffee & Donuts
E - Pizza Deal
F - Sesame Chicken
G - Pancake Breakfast
H - Burrito Combo
I - Buffalo Wings
J - Tikka Masala Platter
You can see these codes stamped on the bag under the bar code.
There are four numbers and then three letters. The letters will tell you what is in the bag!
These codes do not help you order the one that you want online, but if you are able to see the bags in the store, you can check to see what they are.
Another autumn photo prompt was "autumn squash."
I took a humorous approach to this one.
Here is Corinne being squashed by a butternut squash that fell out of the sky.
It's a bit of a Wizard of Oz homage as well.
I might do a more traditional pumpkin themed picture also.Another photo prompt was Wednesday Addams.
I think Maritza makes a great 1960s Wednesday Addams!
She has to share the dress with Melody, though.
Here's the blog post I wrote about sewing this dress. I have added buttons and tacked down the collar since I wrote that post.
I would like to take another picture of Maritza in from of a spookier background, but this is what I have so far for this photo prompt!
Winter is coming...
Therefore my two Bitty Baby rescues are sunbathing in the back yard to get some zit cream treatment, while there's still sunshine.
One of my friends gave me some autumn themed photo prompts.
This photo prompt is for "hot beverages."
Joss is pleased to enjoy her hot cider and the lovely crisp autumn air!Today is Kavi Appreciation Day.
I think that Lila is cute and I hope that she does well for AG. I hope that releasing the GOTY early is a good financial decision for AG. AG has been struggling financially as a company lately, and I want them to do well.
The fact remains, though, that Kavi is getting a little bit cheated by releasing Lila early. So let's show her some love!
I took all of these pictures during a recent trip to Old World Wisconsin.
I would have loved to see Kavi's collection be a little less trendy, and a little more everyday. I think she looks better when dressed in clothes that are not part of her collection.
I also like her better without the painted eyelashes, but I am an old curmudgeon.
I would have loved to see the outfit that Kavi wore to see Wicked, and maybe some Indian food like samosas and dal.
What would you like to see for Kavi?
I went to the thrift store on Saturday, and I found an amazing haul!
They had the back wall of Samantha's Ice Cream Parlor.
It was marked as $12, but it had been there for thee weeks, and no one bought it, so it was marked down to $6.
$6 for this amazing piece, made of wood, with the gorgeous mirror and fake marbling!
It's my first Big Ticket Item, and it was definitely not something that I was looking for or that I had dreamed of owning.
It is amazing, though, and I am so happy to have it!
The thrift store did not have any other pieces from the set, as far as I could tell. I went around the store three times, looking for any of the pieces.
One drawback is that it is hard to take pictures of it without getting in the shot myself, due to the mirror.
I have been joking that this wouldn't be a problem if I was a vampire.
I didn't have much luck getting Samantha and Nellie to look the same way for a picture, either.
What do you think, is it my best thrift store find yet? It might well be!
I know that finding any of the original pieces that belong to this set will probably be pricey, so that is not high on my list.
I may get the retro Our Generation milkshake maker to go with it for now, since the price is right.
While I was in recovery from COVID, I was making a lot of mini books.
Sitting up was about all I could do, and making something gave me a sense of satisfaction.
I made over 50 books. I am not sure how many, probably around 70. I stopped counting at 50.
I made the entire series of Phryne Fisher books! These are obviously under copyright, so they are just for me to enjoy.
These books are the right size for AG dolls, although they can be slightly oversized books for fashion dolls.
If you are interested in making mini books, I suggest checking out Jinjia Mixed Goods on Pixie Faire!
I decided that Nanea needed a Christmas dress. I am surprised that AG hasn't made one for her. I wanted to make a green one to go with ...
