Kit's Wardrobe: Kit's Play Dress

I got Kit's Play Dress, and I took LOTS of pictures to share!

I really adore this outfit. I was a little worried about ordering it. I have an older Kit who is a little chubbier. I thought that some or all of the outfit might not fit.

Luckily, I was wrong! All of it fit, even the shoes! I was so surprised and pleased!

This outfit comes with a lot of pieces. There's the dress, the hat and socks and shoes. The shoes look a lot like the ones from Kit's Chicken Keeping Set, only in beige instead of brown. I don't mind too much. I really like the design, and they can time travel for my other dolls. They are pretty timeless.

Best of all, they fit my older Kit! *squeal*

The style of the dress reminds me of Shirley Temple. That's fine by me, because I was a huge fan of hers as a girl. The print is a very cute 1930s reproduction. I also love the color- blue is my favorite.

It seems a bit short, but that is on trend for this time period.

I could probably sew a dress like this if I wanted to, but I don't want to. Pleats are not my favorite thing to do, and they are a very important part of this dress.

Kit looks utterly adorable in this dress and I cannot recommend it enough!
